Title

An analytical study of Self-efficacy and Locus of control of Teachers in the context of spiritual intelligence

Abstract

The proposed study aims of exploring the associations of personality traits of teachers of in term of self efficacy & Locus of control in the context of their spiritual intelligence. The focus is on evolving the relation of self efficacy & locus of control of teachers with spiritual intelligence in terms of gender & schools-government & non - government to mention that personality characteristics of teacher such as their level of self efficacy & locus of control directly or indirectly contributes in a significant manner in their spiritual related to perceptual power intelligence which in eventually necessary for achieving of goal. The ambit of the study has been restricted to teachers of govt and non govt schools and the sample frame has been delimited to 300 teachers drawn from various schools of Delhi & NCR .The research hypothesis formulated for this is study postulates that the spiritual intelligence of teachers are related to self efficacy and locus of control in terms of gender & type of schools. The method used in this study is Ex-Post facto method. The data gathering tool in respect of spiritual Intelligence, self efficacy & locus of control will be self developed by the investigator. The data analysis will be undertaken by using non parametric tests based on collated data in form of cross breaks .The proposed study has a great relevance for exploring the extent of association of self - efficacy & locus of control of teachers in the context of Spiritual Intelligence and for developing needed measures to enhance self efficacy & internal locus of control thereby exploring the basic for making effective & efficient teachers
